Post by Barefootgirl »

Can anyone recommend an effective blue light filter for a laptop? If it makes a difference, I use a Macbook Air. thanks!
How many retired people does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Only one, but he takes all day.

Have you checked the display settings for your device and operating system? Windows 10 has an adjustable nightlight feature that allows the user to lower blue light emitted by the computer.

I bought a pair of glasses at $.99 only for my wife and I, they were $2.99 each.

Also, bought an attachable screen on eBay for my daughter's Chromebook.

I use this on my iPad. You can customize the time and color settings.

Free f.lux works for Windows. I don't know if it is available for the Apple world.

+1 for f.lux. I've had it on my mac for the last year and it seems to help a lot. I'm very bad about reading on my laptop right before bed.

Had to go look. In Win10, it's called "Night Light" and can be scheduled. Click on "Search for anything" and it'll take you to settings.

Apple already built the filter into your MacBook Air. You just need to into settings and activate it.
