Take a look at KeepassXC. I switched to it after years of using Keepass and have no plans to go back. Cross platform and doesn't require the .NET framework on a Windows machine.

There is another benefit to using a password manager that is often overlooked...it helps to avoid being phished. If you use a password manager to autofill your credentials the password manager will not autofill on a spoofed site so you can be confident that you are on the real site.
