I don’t know if the guy is a Boglehead or not. He IS a fan of Vanguard.

Judge Judy’s response is typical of someone who has been giving unsolicited investment advise, particularly when she didn’t like the fellow to begin with. Giving unsolicited advice on how to invest often gets the same response as giving someone unsolicited advice on how to raise their children. They don’t take it well. This is why I never talk about index funds or investing unless someone asks me.
