A local neighborhood sell/buy site?

Post by Myopic squirrel » Thu Mar 14, 2019 9:09 pm

Is anyone familiar with a buy/sell site similar to Craig's List, but "neighborhood specific" (uncertain of the extent of the covered geographic area) rather than the wider area coverage of a Craig's List? Thank you in advance!

My neighborhood has an email group for local parents, lots of selling/buying/trading/giving away kids stuff on there, and a fair amount of non-kid household stuff too.
Annoyingly now many prefer to do this on facebook, so there is an inferior effort going on there within facebook "groups" including several competing neighborhood-specific groups designated for used stuff.

Check for Swip/Swap, or buy/sell groups on Facebook.

As cited above, nextdoor.com. You can define the range of neighborhoods you want to reach, which is helpful.

My Local "hood" has a city specific Facebook garage sale site, where you can list things for free, message buyers. Cheap, local. Some cities have "buy nothing" groups, or swap sites - all very locally administered. Usually have to request to join.
Salvia Clevelandii "Winifred Gilman" my favorite. YMMV; not a professional advisor.
