recommend a light box
Can anyone recommend a good lightbox? What has been your experience with light boxes both good and bad?
Thanks
Thanks

For what purpose? Looking at negatives? Slides? X-rays?
Or growing plants? Hanging over an aquarium? Using with a bathroom mirror?

Selling stuff on eBay?

S.A.D. light box?
Re: recommend a light box
Or maybe what some people would call a "tanning bed"?
Or maybe you're looking for one of these?

Ensures Happiness in home with these cute little words that add on to the light box. Any relationship in a house or office would enjoy this cute little one to convey sweet and short messages. The box comes with basic letters and numbers with an inbuilt LED light.
My investing princiPLEs do not include absolutely preserving princiPAL.

Perhaps it's a back issue, and OP is tired of heavy boxes...

I have a Dbmier light box for tracing. It is very thin and I have been very pleased with it. It was purchased on Amazon.

If you mean a S. A. D. light box, then I've been very happy using a goLITE from Phillips. (pun intended)

For seasonal affectiveness disorder, as I recall the main criteria is that you want it to put out 10,000 lumens of light. Of course, don't look directly at it, but look down and read a book, eat breakfast, etc.

Oh wow! I didn't realize there would be any confusion.
But, this...
"If you mean a S. A. D. light box, then I've been very happy using a goLITE from Phillips."
Yes, that's what I meant. If anyone has any experience with these and what you'd recommend/not recommend.

Yes! I've read this too. There are bunch on amazon that fit this criteria and I wondered if there was any preference for one brand over another.

This was cool--thanks, but I don't think I described what I meant fully. But thanks for the reply and the great suggestion!

I purchased a Carex Health Brands Day-Light Classic Plus Bright Light Therapy Lamp CCFDL93011 as a gift for someone living in the Pacific Northwest who struggles with Seasonal Affective Disorder. When she uses it, she feels better. It is a temporary fix though, according to her. She plans to move some place sunny eventually because it is still not enough.
