2 weeks ago I purchased two flights that have since dropped 25%. Visa Price Protection covers any lower price within 90 days. Does anyone know of this applies to flights??

Visa CC Price Protection on Flight
Re: Visa CC Price Protection on Flight
Usually things like tickets are excluded.
Re: Visa CC Price Protection on Flight
No they'll say it's a service. And even if it did it would have to be in exactly same ticket fare class code which is sometimes hard to do.

Re: Visa CC Price Protection on Flight
I'm sure that airlines and cruise lines have similar yield management strategies. Right before the cruise/flight, almost any revenue they can generate from an otherwise empty cabin/seat will be harvested. If the CC "price protected" tickets, everyone would be traveling at rock bottom prices, and there would be massive changes to how prices are set. If something is unsustainable, it won't be sustained or perhaps even happen.
I get the FI part but not the RE part of FIRE.

Always read the terms that come with your card. That stuff isn't just packing material.ddurrett896 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2017 4:15 am Does anyone know of this applies to flights??
