You don't need a business to get a business card. Sign up as a sole proprietor, business name is your name, TIN is your social security number and list yourself as having $0 revenue.
Really? Thanks. I do have a "small business" (1 rental unit), but I though the tin had to be for the business. If this works, I'm back in churning business.

For those of you who do this a lot, do you typically go back for round 2 of the same cards?
For sure. And sometimes round 3, 4, etc. I would keep going with the Citi AA but they stopped sending me mailers, which makes me very sad.

Yup. Wife and I did this one with a rental unit using our names and social.

This thread is now in the Personal Finance (Not Investing) forum (credit card).
Wiki To some, the glass is half full. To others, the glass is half empty. To an engineer, it's twice the size it needs to be.

I would opt for the Chase Business Ink Preferred over the CapOne card. $5k min spend but you get 80k UR points. I just got approved for it for my rental business. I used my SSN but I do have a registered sole prop LLC.

I'm have that one and working on it now. Did the cash rewards first and now have the preferred. Next in line will be cap one unless something better comes along
