Any IPad users, I am looking for a new IPad device
Any IPad users, I am looking for a new IPad device
or IPhone device.
I saw this on the Bing News home page about 3 days ago and it fascinated me and I had thought that I would be able to find it later.
Well, nuts, I cannot find it.
It was on either the Products or Science/Technology section.
It looked to be about 4" long and looked like a cable that wrapped back onto itself into a USB looking device.
What it was that has me intrigued was a direct attachable expansion storage device and a charger built into one.
My IPad 2 sorely needs more storage and this looked ideal.
I think it is a pretty new device as the article said something about pricing was not available.
Any ideas on what it is ?
PS It was not a wifi device.

From your description, it sounds like this: http://gizmodo.com/this-tiny-iphone-cha ... 1719233587
I only skimmed the review, but it sounds like it isn't really integrated into the OS though, so it is up to the individual apps as to whether or not they can access the storage. It doesn't sound like any of the default IOS apps for music, pictures, and videos will be able to use it, but you should definitely research it a little more before purchasing it to be sure.

That thing looks ugly and would likely catch on something 5 minutes after plugging it in.
I hear android tablets have a slot for a small flash stick

iPad2 is quite old. Time to replace it.
I know nothing!

Bestbuy is having a black friday in July sale until Saturday 7/25. iPad air 2 is on sale for $125 off.
Ipad air 2 wifi only 16GB is $375 (reg $499), 64GB $475 (reg $599), 128GB (reg $699)
I don't think the sale applies to cellular models of iPad Air 2.

Well, I talked to the Leef people to see what they recommend and they basically said to either delete some files , go ICloud, or get a new device.
The IPad2 connector is the problem. 3n pins or somesuch.
They have nothing that can connect to it, have no plans to make one, nor know of anyone that has something like I need.
Pshaw.
I am going to give the Icloud option a try.
