Have a dinner at JoeT's (Joe T Garcias) in Ft Worth, and if you're staying there, go to Billybob's Texas to check out the worlds largest honkey tonk.

In a few weeks, State Fair and Plano Balloon Festival. For year round fun, Mesquite Rodeo.

+1 to the Perot museum. Not just for kids.

Also,can't go wrong with Tex-Mex, BBQ brisket or chicken fried steak almost anywhere.

Visit SMU and/or TCU campus
Tour of AT&T Stadium

FC Dallas is fun to watch if you like soccer
Take a jog around Whiterock Lake
