Thought you would all like to know this
I apologize if have mentioned this before, memory slipping, but as Bogleheads I thought you would all appreciate this story
We just moved into new quarters and have five main conference rooms for meetings with clients. The five rooms were named after the people who most influenced our investment thinking
(Adam) Smith Room
(William) Sharpe Room
(Ken) French Room
(Gene) Fama Room
and (John) Bogle Room
Best wishes
Larry

Tribute to Mr. Bogle and other great financial contributors
Hi Larry:
It is a clever idea to name your conference rooms after five of the most influential persons in finance. Needless to say, Bogleheads are particularly delighted to see their mentor recognized.
We hope that you like your new quarters and we thank you for contributing your knowledge to this forum.

Nice going Larry.
Nice that you had enough rooms so that Fama and French did not have to share a room.(Adam) Smith Room

You obviously have not been paying attention to Larry's posts, especially his long macro-economics discussions with "richard".Fallible wrote: Keynes? (Just wondering.)

Now you have something in common with the National Constitution Center. Good company to keep!

Are there just folding chairs and a card table in the Bogle room because, hey, costs matter?
Do meetings in the Bogle room have their own, managed agenda, or do they just try to mimic as closely as possible the events in all the conference rooms as a whole?
Do the tables in the Fama and French rooms have any perceptible tilt?
Do meetings in the Smith room always run late because the clock has invisible hands?

Re: Keynes
That series is wonderful, thanks for recommending it. Unfortunately it ends too early - need the one with the edits through, say, 2050.larryswedroe wrote:suggest reading Where Keynes Went Wrong, Economics in One Lesson and watch the great film The Commanding Heights
