WSJ Reporter doing story about BHs who've taken withdrawals prior to 59 1/2

Post by Mel Lindauer »

Laura Saunders, a reporter at the Wall St. Journal, would like to hear from Bogleheads willing to be quoted who have "raided" their retirement accounts -- i.e., taken withdrawals before age 59 1/2.

DId you manage to avoid a 10% penalty, or were you surprised by one? Was the withdrawal worth it anyway?

Please write Laura.Saunders@wsj.com before Thursday, Feb. 13 EOD. Thank you.
