Why is Vanguard still charging a fee to purchase individual stocks?
Will they not lose business if they do not stop this charging practice real fast? as people can get much more at Schwab ect ect.

Vanguard isn't looking for customers that focus on trading stocks. You can buy Vanguard mutual funds and ETFs all day for free at Vanguard.

Also, you can get a cash bonus if you transfer your assets elsewhere. And you can get free HSAs and free CMAs elsewhere.sonosoldi3112 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 1:10 pm Why is Vanguard still charging a fee to purchase individual stocks?

I've never had a Vanguard account because there has always been someone willing to give me a better deal.
Don't worry about what other people are doing. Do what is best for you.
Re: vanguard stock trade fee
Seeing how index investing continued to grow YoY, I doubt Vanguard has anything to worry about.
