Vanguard: Exploring falling ETF costs

Post by Whakamole » Mon Jul 15, 2019 10:27 am

This article was just published on Vanguard's Advisors site: https://advisors.vanguard.com/VGApp/iip ... ngETFSCsts

The summary says it best:
The ETF vehicle, and its powerful role in democratizing indexing as a strategy, has chipped away at costs all along the "value chain." Fund managers, market makers, sell-side traders, and brokerage platforms each are increasingly taking less these days, and investors are keeping more than they might have if ETFs hadn't entered the picture.

I am a big fan of ETFs, have invested in them since 2004.
A fool and his money are good for business.
