Looks like this is the tenth year Larry has been tracking ‘sure things’ from gurus and investors. Their track record ain’t so good, but this year so far, not as bad as most.

I was sure that US Large Value was due any day now and have been beating the drums for it for 3-4 years now. The markets have not cooperated as we are still in a US Large Growth market, Large Value continues to trail the S&P 500 and trail the US Growth Index even more. So much for sure things. This is why I don't run a market timing newsletter, my predictions are as lousy as everyone else's.

But your newsletter would at least be honest! :D

Well, if I were honest, I probably wouldn't sell any newsletters. I would have to claim that I predicted such things as the 2008-2009 financial crisis which I didn't. A whole of exaggeration going on out there.
