John Bogle, who founded Vanguard and revolutionized retirement savings, dies at 89.

The passing of a truly great man who generously shared his knowledge of how investing could be----and changed the lives of so many of us individual investors. And changed the world of finance forever.

A true hero to all of us here who will always be inspired by his altruism, his wisdom, and his leadership.

Such a kind and generous and wise man. He dedicated his life not to just making money for himself, but to changing the investing world, making it more fair and more just for others. Like me. RIP, John Bogle. I will always be grateful.

A truly great American. This man professionalized the finance industry and benefited so many in a truly American way. His formula for success: hard work, prudent investing in index funds, and prudent spending will result in financial security. Simplicity in finance is his legacy, in my opinion.
