Not terribly different than the rest of the century from that view, well within the trend channel. Sometimes it scrapes the top of that channel, sometimes the bottom, and this thing of ours keeps on going.

2001 - 2012 = basically flat
2012 - present = a nice run but nothing compared to 1982 - 2000 or '49 to '66 or '21 to '29. Third or fourth best run in a century? Meh. It's nice but nothing to panic about.

I have been in QQQ rather than SPY since 2005. No regrets at all.

Honestly, I would never recommend a sector or fund tilted away from the market as a core holding. I don't blame those people.
