According to Morningstar, Tesla is 3.28% of QQQ. It is listed as the 6th or 7th largest holding depending on how you view the 2 classes of Alphabet stock.

Which allowed me to do necessary repositioning after the recent run-up. The rally may now continue.

Since you asked -

Nasdaq and S&P futures are up about 0.15%.

That’s better than being down.

I'll be scratching my head at close tomorrow if there is no profit taking. I have some new positions in QQQ started this month that are already up over 5%. That's crazy.

I will not be participating in any profit taking. My current plan it to continue to add to the 4 ETFs in the Jäger Portfolio and look for other attractive opportunities.

Of course it's up this week - I get my paycheck on Friday. I guarantee this means we'll be down next week.

Speed bump! In my option either the Two Fund or Three Fund Portfolio (the difference being whether to include or exclude Total International) are excellent portfolio. The best part is both portfolios will never be below average.

You heard it here first. This is a new bull market :D . The media will call it a bull around 4000, once people have had their market timing clocks thoroughly cleaned.

The only bad thing about this market is my wife's new house budget has gone up like 100k

(It's actually a good thing)

(and I locked in that extra 100k by rebalancing, so even a crash next week doesn't reduce the new house budget)

Actually, "unbridled" optimism is usually a bad thing.

It had been a very, very good week for FNGMAN (AAPL had their fun 2 weeks ago), and a FANTASTIC week for Salesforce.

I think the market is ready for a second $2T company, so I'm calling MSFT to be the next (15.6% to go), after that AMZN (17.6% to go). Amazon can get there first but IF Microsoft can make this TikTok thing happen (partnering with Walmart), then they will cross the line first probably before the end of the year. What do you guys think?

It's bold because $2T will make MSFT up 60.76% since 1/1/2020, but that's nothing compare to AMZN who has already been up 84.10%, or 101.7% since 1/1/2020 to $2T.

I know nothing so this is all for fun of course.

Don't get me wrong. I have a healthy bond allocation, I'm perfectly happy if folks want to deliver more equities into my nest egg at 30-40% off.

And nobody is saying in the near-term the market only goes up, that would be silly. I think it's perfectly rational to be a bit cheerful, having taken a risk in March, when the market timing or chicken little crowd was warning of financial armageddon, they are subsequently proved wrong (again), and then the proverbial risk-premium tide comes back into shore rewarding those who followed their IPS and stayed the course.

Indeed. FNGU (3x large-cap growth ETF) is up 10.3% this week alone.

Given the pretty deep bear market just a few months ago, I hope that investors' memories aren't that short, but there's nothing like a really good run to make people think that the music can't stop.
