Governmental 457(b) Plan

Post by LifelongLearner »

Any government employees out there who recently participated in a RFP process for a 457(b) plan? If so, what were your main takeaways from that process? Thanks.

bumping up old thread

My plan is less than transparent, vendor website is disorganized and hard to find things, Nationwide is our vendor, our NYSDCP board makes less than transparent decisions. Often funds are sold off and your assets are transferred to new funds, with warning. They are currently using Collective Investment Trust which is not regulated by the SEC and are hard to track daily price unless you use a spreadsheet and go to the website.
