Non-USA Domicile: Avoiding / Minimizing USA-NRA Withholding Taxes

Are you using a USA domiciled broker with no access to Ireland domiciled ETFs?

An easy Boglehead-like way of doing this:

Ladder of brokered (USA FDIC insured) CDs a/o INDIVIDUAL USA treasuries as your bond holdings.

BRKB as your only equity holding.

If you decided to hold VT your TER (ER + TR) is about 0.75% at current dividend yield.
AA = 40/55/5. Expected CAGR = 3.8%. GSD (5y) = 6.2%. USD inflation (10 y) = 1.8%. AWR = 4.0%. TER = 0.4%. Port Yield = 2.13%. Term = 34 yr. FI Duration = 6.2 yr. Portfolio survival probability = 95%.
