Wellington and Wellesley on May 16th

Post by SpringMan »

My first thought was a dividend was paid but that does not appear to be the case. Wellesley is down almost 3% today. Wellington is down over 1.5%. Any explanations?

My worse performing fund today VWIAX. VWENX was my second worse performing fund. No distribution is due until June.

This just doesn't make any sense....why would Wellesley be down 3%? I don't see any headlines with the bond market being bad....what gives?

I am confused also as I choose VWIAX for safety ... and with regard to Wellington ... this was an 'UP" day in market so it should be also up . I would think .. .. may be a glitch or just a small blip in the big scheme of things.

26.09 for VWINX. I think

I merged Eric76's thread into here. The combined thread is in the Investing - Theory, News & General forum (news). I also retitled the thread.

How is this possible to mis quote the NAV?

What if you bought our sold today?

Global Wellington was incorrect this evening also. They updated it to the correct amount around 8 p.m. eastern. Definitely not a distribution, but clearly something was screwy.

Anyone place an order to buy either Wellington and/or Wellesley the past two days and honored the 'incorrect' price?
