Any other way to access these Vanguard resources as I am not a financial advisor?

Hi folks,

I enjoy reading Vanguard's website as there is a plethora of information on there. I really enjoy the white papers and other literature that is in pdf format as I have a bit of downtime at work each day to read. Vanguard's site for financial advisor's( which I am not), has some great info on there, I read all that I have access to. While on that site, I go to the Resources tab, ad then drag down to literature and forms and I feel like a kid on Christmas just looking at all the potential reading material there. Problem is, I am not a financial advisor and you have to sign in to read it. Does anybody know where I might be able to find that information elsewhere? Thank you kindly.

What I would say is that there is a lot of good stuff out there for free. While it is frustrating to not be able to access everything, I don't think there are a lot of secrets in the "advisor only" section that are not available to the public in some form. There is a lot of academic research out there. Good Boglehead authors like Larry Swedroe, Rick Ferri, Bill Bernstein, and Mr. Bogle himself whose works are published and available at places like Amazon. We have knowledgeable posters here that have great minds and provide some great insight.

While I can't tell you how to access this information, I can tell you that there is more out there for free than you would ever be able to digest.

here at John Bogle's eblog (http://johncbogle.com/wordpress/) you'll have a plethora of information at your fingertips. The link from the main page here (http://johncbogle.com/wordpress/academic-articles/) provides links to numerous academic papers written by Bogle and the Bogle Financial Markets Research Center. Be sure to read through the archives. Enjoy!
