Own "The Market" or not - 3 Morningstar columns

Post by ResearchMed » Fri Sep 01, 2017 4:13 pm

Not sure if this should get merged into another thread...

In the few days, there have been 3 different Morningstar columns with different perspectives.
In chronological order:

http://news.morningstar.com/articlenet/ ... ?id=823304
("Should You Own the Market Portfolio - Two Nobel Laureates, two answers")

http://news.morningstar.com/articlenet/ ... ?id=823678
("4 Reasons Not to Own the Market Portfolio - There are valid reasons to take a different approach")

http://news.morningstar.com/articlenet/ ... ?id=824193
("The Case for Owning the U.S. Market Portfolio - <should be the default option>")

Interesting timing...

This signature is a placebo. You are in the control group.
