Where can I find statistics on the stock market as to ownership in every way imaginable -- income, age, education, etc.

The Gallup organization does polling on patterns of stock ownership in the U.S. This recent report has a good overview and discussion of trends:

Very interesting. What are these statistics used for anyway?
It might suggest there is more money on the sidelines that could make it into the markets. I've heared it many times that when market participation is high the market and overbought. All categories are down except for ages 65 and over and annual house hold greater than 100,000 with a very minor increase of 1%.
