Two Podcasts -- Good?
I've chosen two podcasts to possibly start listening to: those of Paul Merriman and the Mad Fientist.
Are they worth subscribing to? Are there better choices?

I like both of those, and would add two more:
The Dough Roller Money Podcast
White Coat Investor Podcast

Clark Howard is excellent. Lots of practical advice to help save your hard earned money

I also like Stacking Benjamins and agree with Dough Roller.

I'll have to try some of the ones recommended here!
Two I enjoy are Planet Money and 99% Invisible.

Masters In Business with Barry Ritholtz is absolutely tremendous, I can't recommend it enough. He's interviewed Jack Bogle, Jack Brennan, Bill McNabb, Charlie Ellis, Burton Malkiel, and many other guests. It's a master class in insights from some of the most important figures in finance, both from a bh perspective as well as business in general.
Submit to the relentless rules of humble arithmetic and avoid the tyranny of compounding costs.

The Money Guy isn't a bad one either. Some fairly basic content, but good financial conversations.

Read & study the great investors.
Jack Bogle, Warren Buffett, Ronald Read (The Janitor Next Door),
The Chicagoan, The Millionaire Next Door & some select others.
How did they acquire their wealth...(how did they do that)?
Can you use their methods to achieve the same results?
Did you know Warren Buffett started out with $5,000. & is at
approximately $75 Billion right now. Say what you want but in
my book it's pretty impressive. How about Ronald Read (who just
had a High School education) end up with $8 Million working
as a mechanic/janitor? How can I do that...?
It's super interesting & you never know...you might be the
next Ronald Read!

I enjoy Money for the Rest of US. He has nearly 200 episodes--not all of them are that interesting but go by the names of the titles and it will teach you how money and the financial markets work vs. how to invest. I really enjoy his episodes on money creation, inflation, and sovereign debt. Really helps you understand what's going on in the economy.

I like Meb Faber. I don't plan to implement his tactical strategies but I like the quant talk and the smooth southern drawl, LOL.
I also enjoy The Investor's Podcast. It's kind of like listening in on a book club meeting where they mostly read books written by billionaires.
I'll give a plug to a fellow boglehead's podcast -- White Coat Investor. He covers complex topics in a factually accurate and time efficient way.
