Vanguard website almost nonresponsive?

Vanguard website almost nonresponsive?

I've been trying it for about 20 minutes. The site isn't down, but it's slow to the point of being useless. I can't log on. Anyone else having trouble?

No issues.

Tried and was able to open and navigate the site with no issues, it could be a local issue (I am in St George UTAH).

I couldn't get in earlier today but it seems fine now. Could be a rolling server problem - they may be bouncing all the servers.

Thanks, cfs. I'm in Colorado. I've tried with both Firefox and Chrome. I can access other sites just fine, and my current download speed is almost 8 Mbits/sec. I used the Vanguard site last night with no trouble. This is very strange.

I used my backup plan for when I need updates on the road and am wary of using public wi-fi: I used Vanguard's telephone updates and balances services with a previous printout of my portfolio from their website.

Not unusual at all. All websites have performance problems occasionally.

Could be a routing problem too.

Can be debugged using traceroute if you are interested.

My backup plan is to have lunch and wait for the site to come back online.

Fine from here earlier this morning (5:30EST) and now, connecting from Thailand route goes to San Francisco and onto Level3's network and on to the server.
Checked it from Dallas, TX, uses above.net's network through to Philadelphia where there server appears to be. Fine from Dallas.
