The current rate is good until the end of January.
Did the rep say what the 5-year rate will be?

I didn't ask, but I can't imagine it being higher or a lot lower.

Wow... glad I snapped up the higher rate earlier this month. And I probably wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for this forum. I always assume that on any given day, I will read something here that will either make me money or save me money.

Sounds about right, given what the competition is offering. Thanks for the reports.
Don't assume I know what I'm talking about.

Did that just start today? I've been getting errors like "your request did not complete/you have been logged off" for a couple of weeks.

I just logged in without a problem.

I've called PenFed regarding my Edu IRA that I've sent paperwork on Monday.
CSR said that they are 7-days behind on processing IRA paperwork, but will honor Jan. rate for the paperwork received in Jan.

Looks like they are back down to 1.5% for 5 and 7 years CDs. Was the 3% just a one time thing?

According to crowd knowledge, PenFed's rates are the best every December/January. Come back in 8 months!
