Apple (AAPL) Hires Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts to Oversee Retail Stores.

Starting in the spring, Ahrendts, 53, will report directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook and will oversee the company's online and retail stores
Again, N2 in Apple is a former CEO of a marketing / fashion company. Apple is back to 80th.

I did read this earlier today. There is of course the rumor that she could one day be CEO.

Apple had it's glory and now everyone else is caught up or catching up and the amrgins are under the gun.

Yeah Apple is in big trouble. They only sold about 20,000,000 I-phones this quarter for a $200+ profit.

I would not say they are in trouble. Just that the competition is that much greater. Competition is good.

Nah, Apple isn't in trouble...yet. History has shown they can keep cranking out the same product for almost the better part of a decade by making insignificant changes (like changing the color of the case) and people will continue to buy each new version.
