V Cash Plus Account Bill Payments

Post by djmbob »

If I keep most of my money in my account in VUSXX, when I go to pay a bill, do the funds come out of the PNC cash or the Treasury fund.
Thanks for any info,
Cheers,
Ray

Bill pay always comes out of the PNC account with the ACH routing number, you can manually purchase/sell Treasury MMF in the Cash Plus account but it doesn't provide "overdraft" protection for the actual PNC cash account. Still, I think the fact that you can purchase Treasury MMF in the Cash Plus account is a nice feature if you are using the Cash Plus account for expenses like vacations or a series of home improvements.
