Rate My Portfolio- Advice/Changes?

Post by stackincheeze »

So this is my first time posting here, I apologize if there's any mistakes as far as etiquette.
I'm 27 and currently have 14k in my portfolio and have 10k in cash about to invest when I feel this correction is over. 70k in savings, no debts besides mortgage.

Here is my portfolio plan:

25%- TLT (20+ yr treasury bond)
12.5%- VOO (S&P 500)
12.5%- VTI (Total Stock Index)
7.5% VO (Mid Cap Index)
7.5% VB (Small Cap Index)
5% GLD (Gold)
5% QQQ (Nasdaq top 100)
10% MGK (Mega Cap Growth)
5% MSFT (Microsoft)
5% AAPL (Apple)
3% IHI (Medical Devices Index)
2% SCHE (Emerging Foreign Markets)

Please give me some feedback on this. Thanks!

...and have 10k in cash about to invest when I feel this correction is over.

Does this mean you are waiting for the market to up before investing your money?
