SEP-IRA CD

Post by joyceg2797 » Thu May 21, 2020 1:13 pm

I would like to open a SEP-IRA CD. I already have several of these at Ally, but have reached the $250,000 so I don't want to go over the FDIC insurance limit. When I go to depositaccounts.com I'm having trouble finding another bank that says they offer SEP-IRA CD's. Any suggestions?

looked at bankrate for best cd rates (third link below) and looks like synchrony might have one (first link below) and alliant (second link):

https://www.alliantcreditunion.org/inve ... ra-account
https://www.bankrate.com/banking/cds/ira-cd-rates/

does that help give a starting point?

So I can get a SEP-IRA CD at any bank that offers IRA CD's as long as I complete the form?

not sure. that's not what I said. I only mentioned the banks that had the best cd rates on bankrate that actually listed sep iras.

what form are you referencing?
