Is anyone else having trouble getting into vanguard [12-1-19]

I tried to login several times and it says the site no longer exists.???

No problem logging on to the website several times a couple hours ago. Just logged on through the phone app with no issue.

I was just searching the site for its 2035 TDF and it would not appear. I finally had to use MorningStar to look up VGs 2035 fund, ughh.

Download the app on your phone or tablet. It works on the odd occasion the browser login doesn’t work.

It seems to happen a few times a year. I don’t even use the regular login anymore. You can do it all from the app.

homestretch, thanks for the link. Before I posted this topic I did a search to see if anyone else had an issue with Vanguard today; the OP of the other tread had a typo in Vanguard so it didn't come up

I've been unsuccessful at trying to log in today, too. Tried the usual: reboot, other browsers, etc. No luck. Downloaded the iPhone app and that does work.

Last night Vanguard.com was doing maintenance & while I could log in & see balances, I could not see holdings. This morning & 2 minutes ago I had no problems; all holdings visible & no problems logging in.

Had trouble logging in all morning but then finally was able to log in a few hours ago. Made a transfer in my taxable account and then wanted to deposit some money but it stopped working again.

Just was able to log into the app and complete the deposit I wanted to do but then the app booted me out and now I can't log in again.

mortfree, with all due respect, please consider that real people (such as me) had an actual problem, and in the absence of any explanation from the organization (Vanguard), and being unable to contact a human (their call center is closed on the weekend...I tried prior to posting), in such a situation one might inquire on this board if others experienced the same thing. I take offense to be called a "troll".

I don't consider you a troll. However, quite a few people were able to log in. Some (like me) did so multiple times and executed transactions. Therefore, you should consider the possibility that the problem was not with Vanguard's website but with the connection between you and Vanguard's website. If Vanguard's call center had been open, they might not have satisfied you. They might well have reported that the website was working.

I haven't been able to log into the website yesterday or at present, keep getting "the page you requested could no longer be found".....I can log in on the app thru cell phone but not the website....

I just logged in. So.. no email or tweet from their twitter account, because their website is functioning. Perhaps it is an issue by geographic location or a Cyber Monday traffic snarl but it is not a systemic Vanguard website issue.

Literally no other sites I cannot log into. Even crummy oft-troubled oneamerica site for 403(b).

Cannot log in via Phone browser, although on the phone I at least get texted a log-in code before saying cant connect. On explorer, firefox, or chrome on PC I don't even get a texted code. Just immediately sent to "the page you requested . . ." upon entering username and password.

EDIT: Downloaded the app and took a few tries and a lot of waiting, but finally got in.

Still having problem with windows7 and chrome browser. I can get in today to see holdings which I could not yesterday but there are no graphics, just looks like an old dos screen. When I go to ask for a list of mutual funds or efts available, it just spins for awhile, I see 'resolve host' in the lower left and it comes back to the original screen. Accessing the account from the app seems functional.

Gets stuck at the page to use a security key. "Log on to use security codes" sends a code, I enter it, but it doesn't work either in the end. Using Windows 7 and Chrome browser

The problem yesterday was that their static CDN was down, so it was not loading CSS/JS, etc, but was showing HTML, which is why logging in didn't work (but looked like you could log in).

I just talked with cust service rep. They recommended deleting cookies. Didn't help. They submitted a ticket to their web support team. Apparently many are still having difficulty logging in.
