Float or lock in rate?

Post by Linkin06 » Wed Jun 12, 2019 2:41 pm

I’m looking at getting a 3.375% 15 year mortgage with about $200 in credits and was wondering should I try and lock in rates now or ask to float? Yes I understand no one knows future, but seems like worst case scenario would never be a raise in rates with how the rumors have been, right?

Both. Lock with one lender and float with another.
