Can soemone recommend a total market ETF or fund
Hi,
I am looking an autopilot ETF or funds to put in $100k. I woudl do so in tranches.
The idea is to find a low cost ETF or fund that invests in a broad market, representing a good diversification of mix for a 10 year old.

Not intent. Just had a quick look here and it states 0.87% international.

Is this because they got out of international and will move back later?

VTI is a U.S. stock market ETF. VT is a global stock market ETF. It's currently about 54% U.S. and 46% international (excluding U.S.). See https://investor.vanguard.com/etf/profile/VT. Hope that helps!calimero wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 7:45 pmNot intent. Just had a quick look here and it states 0.87% international.

No, they don't move in and out of allocations. That would be active management, the opposite of indexing.calimero wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 7:45 pmNot intent. Just had a quick look here and it states 0.87% international.

As far as the small amount of international, it could be companies that have shifted headquarters but are still in the index for now. Or something in the sampling method or replication.
If you want international, I'd recommend two broad funds in the proportions you want.
