Hi all. We've had a Vanguard 529 for a long time. Now that my daughter will be a freshmen and we've saved enough to pay for school I want to shift the money into a safe investment. Unfortunately Vanguard's Accumulation Portfolio option only pays .3% after expense ratio. Has anyone rolled over their 529 to another company offering a 529 savings account or CD's paying 2-4% respectively? Or do people just make no interest on quite a bit of college money. About 250k. Thanks.
