Any thoughts? What percentage would you feel comfortable within your portfolio? It seems its been paying 8% since 2013.

Portfolio Analysis/Advice



Looking for advice. Income will most likely be reduced by 100k in 5 years. Presently do not have large disability insurance but do have more than adequate health insurance. My wife and I each have a million dollar term life policy. No debt besides 1 mortgage and 1 car lease payment. Currently saving approximately 100k including $40k towards IRA.

State of residence: Pennsylvania

Married
Household Salary $350,000.00
Primary Home No Mortgage, Value $750,000.00
Second Home $400,000.00 mortgage @ 3% 9 years left, value: $1,100,000.00

5 cars, 1 $400.00 lease

2 children, 1 adult, 1 in college 3 years left @ $50,000.00/year



Additional rental income $42,000.00

Cash on hand: $100,000.00

I'd focus on broad market index funds for the taxable accounts for tax efficiency purposes. So total US and/or total international stock market index funds. See https://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Tax-eff ... _placement
