Vanguard not answering their telephone

Anyone have any idea as to why, when I call Vanguard right now, no one answers? Thanks

High volumes account the market tumble would be my guess...I had a delay getting logged in online as well... this too will pass.

+1. I would never rely on getting through on the phone to make a trade....but I would never be making a trade on a day like today (unless I had cash sitting around not yet invested) :shock:

They are testing a new 0% ER customer service.

They are dusting off the "do not panic, stay the course" scripts. Shouldn't be too much dust on them since they were used only last February. In February there was a 10% correction, so this one has a ways to go to get to that point.

A lot of customers must have 10/10 as their scheduled reallocation day :shock:

The issue for me had nothing to do with making a trade, but rather a problem with their statement....just for clarity sake.

LOL! Or, they are busy doing their own trades, they’ll get to you next! (Only kidding).

Likelier reason was they were bombarded with phone calls, it was a “all crew on deck kinda day”.
