Has anyone any experience with Jim Lowell recommendations? He does write enticing newsletters.

I dont use them but he seems to be one of the few who actually beats the market. Whether he continues to do so remains to be seen.

My reaction is that "investing" + "enticing" is a formula for really bad things to happen.

As best I can tell from glancing at his pages he is advocating that people depend on his information/services to make smart active management investment decisions and beat the market. That generally is not a productive approach to investing. Such newsletters are a dime a dozen but rather than being worth less than dime could be quite damaging. It can also happen that his advice is to a person's advantage -- for awhile until it isn't.
