Consolidating Traditional IRA

Post by topspin70 » Mon Jun 12, 2017 2:04 pm

I'm planning to do Roth conversion of my Traditional IRA.
I have two accounts, one is in Vanguard and the rest in Fidelity.
Would you advise to consolidate it only in one account like put them all in Vanguard?
Thanks!

I personally like having several brokerages, but a lot of people prefer the simplicity of only having one. It is up to you. Why did you open them at different companies in the first place? Does that reason still make sense to you?

No major reason for opening it at Fidelity. I just wanted to try other brokerage.
Thanks!
