VTIAX and Portfolio Watch

Post by A440 » Fri May 19, 2017 11:18 am

Anyone know why VTIAX doesn't show up on Portfolio Watch as a Large-Cap holding when looking under Stock Analysis/Market Capitalization?

I contacted Vanguard and they said this issue was corrected, but it still exists.

I'd like to re-balance soon and would like to get an accurate idea of where to buy/move funds.

Don't use Vanguard's Portfolio Watch for this. It's unreliable. Instead, use the free Morningstar Instant X-Ray calculator. It's much more accurate.

Because Vanguard PW explcitly excludes international holdings in that analysis. It evens says so right there. This means whoever you talked to cannot read. Screen capture here: viewtopic.php?p=2248842#p2248842
