Postby parigi723 » Fri May 03, 2013 10:06 am

Hello everyone!
I'm a 72yrs old male, not as sharp as I used to be.I'd like to have a consultation with a financial planner,I do not know
how to go about it.I live in Florida in a very rural area, very far from Palm Beach........Could you suggest an organization
that might be able to guide me in the right direction,or help me to locate a fee only fp?
Many thanks in advance for your time in replying.........parigi. :confused

For fee only advisers with fiduciary responsibility, check these professional organizations:
PS the very best fiduciary is YOU when you are prepared to meet any financial adviser by reading some of the books suggested by this forum: ... nd_Reviews

Hi parigi723,

Welcome to the forum. I follow Taylor's portfolio so I have no experience with using an advisor. However there have been tons of discussions on how or where to find a good one. Here is a recent one, pay extra attention to the links in LadyGeek's reply as those are very helpful resources:

Some of the advisors who frequent here include Allen Roth, Rick Ferri, Larry Swedroe and Bill Schultheis. You can google them easily.
