Re: BMO routed my money to wrong bank - advice?

Can you arrange a 3-way or 4-way phone conversation? Can you sit in someone's office and do the same thing? I just reached out to my local branch manager where we got the HELOC. I'm just wondering what my recourse will be if I still don't have my money in the next week or two. It's just gone off to...

BMO routed my money to wrong bank - advice?

I erroneously paid online to the wrong HELOC (recently closed) at BMO. Instead of transferring to new HELOC, they said they sent it back ACH electronically back to Chase. Chase did not receive. I spent HOURS on the phone each bank transferring me around, putting me on hold, asking me millions of ID ...

I sympathize and empathize. We have neighbors who are impossible to deal with - it started 25 years ago. I put up a stockade between the back yards and basically ruined their view. Had to do it. Long story, but similar to yours. I figured, we could not win with people that felt as "entitled" as they...

Re: I bought the wrong car - know it after 15 days

Here is something to try: My car seat was too firm for me. So, I went to an upholstery shop and bought a piece of two-inch thick medium density upholstery foam. I put that on the seat and it feels a lot softer. The height increase due to the foam is negligible. It's not the seat alone, it's the bac...

My 6'3" husband has a very bad back. When we bought our 2013 Lexus 350, it was for the seats. It hasn't failed us. The most comfortable seats we've ever had. I understand having back issues with car seats. I can't ride/drive an Acura or a Ford any more, even though I drove an Acura Legend for several years 20 years ago. So FYI - if you do decide on a Lexus, DO NOT buy one that has the heated/cooled seats. The nicer seats are the mid-line, not the base, and t...
