I have the G37. It is an absolute pleasure to drive it and the comfort is awesome. No issues at all. I test drove Q. They improved the technology stuff which I think G/M series lacked a bit, but did not have the the same drive/style feel. I would also recommend good tires and they reduce road noise...

If you love the car, would the dealer let you trade it in for another 2013 (same year, same model) as a Certified Pre-Owned? Even if you got one with less mileage and had to spend a little, I know how it is when you love a car, and at least you could get I think a 2 year warranty with the CPO.

I suggest you talk with a physical therapist about your problem. They may be able to recommend some adjustments that will help your back. It could be seat cushion or lumbar back support. BMW's have great seats. In NJ when you take a Honda out for a test drive they literally allow you to drive it around the block. I have experienced this at a few different dealerships.
