As other have said, the monitoring services are a waste. I do not use any of them. Once the new federal law about tax free credit freezes goes into place in a few weeks, we will freeze all lines. Monthly.

Cheap filters with good airflow are the ones we use.

In the winter, when nothing is running, we might go 2-3 months without. However, from May through November, every month.

We have two 20x20x1 filters.

Most consumers want cheaper prices. To meet those demands, they build cheaper items.

Obviously, that may not apply to the people on this forum. But, we all know about the people out there with no emergency fund, who live paycheck-to-paycheck, etc.

I would absolutely pay it off.

Of course, I am in favor of paying off mortgages, even in the face of what are likely mathematically better choices.

This is becoming more common. There are too many deadbeats out there who don't pay their bills. An ever increasing bad debt line can really hurt a private practice. I don't have a problem with it. Keep in mind, no one complains when the dentist makes you pay up front (which most have done for ever!)...

I have never had to pay for a flat repair. Sears Auto, Discount Tire, Les Schwab, etc. They all do it for free.

Glossing over the fact that trading in a 2015 with low miles makes no sense, I would simply wait until later in the year to consummate the transaction.

You are only going to get auction prices when you trade it in, an extra 5-10K miles really won't change the value of the trade-in, significantly.
