Re: Where to stay in San Diego?

I was in San Diego 3 weeks ago for a conference and stayed at the Omni Hotel in downtown. Its about $250/night, but Im lucky my employer paid for the hotel. Vanguard TIPS duration

As of January 2012, TIPS has an average duration of 8.4 years, compared with an average duration of 5 years for the Barclays Capital Aggregate Bond Index. So, why does Vanguard not have a shorter duration TIPS index fund? That way, if interest rates increase someday, its performance would not hurt a...

Well, he makes that much per year because the tax laws are unfair, and he gets to pocket more. Income from investments held for more than one year are taxed at a rate no more than 15%, while income from an ordinary job the tax rates can be up to 35%.

My math was off
The correct breakdown should have been:
1.-25.5%
2.-25.5%
3.-15.3%
4.-14.9%
5.-18.6%

I think the GNMA is a little higher compared to the other bond funds.

3) AA is 60/40
