At basically age 78, now single, and at 41 times expenses I keep All Cash (CD/MM). I just hope CD rates beat "my personal inflation rate". Over the years it has and I do not see that changing. BTW and I really do not plan to live to age 100 much less 129.

Wire Transfer from Closing Agent is the way to go. At least it was for me with NFCU (Closed at 4 PM - money was in account at NFCU by 6 PM same day).

Additionally, I have made large transfers (ACH) with NFCU - Requires a phone call to them to get it done since their normal limit is $5K per day.

If you do not already have an account there I believe you will have to call a CSR. BTW you did not ask but NFCU has a 17 month CD paying 2% APY (1.98% APR). If you go to Deposit Accounts site they have a way to join NFCU that heretofore was not known to many. You may want to research that.
