I suspect that you do not have enough deductions to itemize. If you do not marry, probably you should maximize your 401k since you will be in the 25% bracket. I have a single few year old Asus ac66u in the center of my 1100 square foot condo, and I can get decent 5ghz wifi out to my car in the parking lot I don't use it as my actual router though, that is reserved for my ubiquity edgerouter x which does not have WiFi.
