I can't believe this hasn't been brought up yet, but what salary are you requiring.

In my experience that gets discussed/negotiated at the end of the interview and decision process. If you require too much, that's a guarenteed door in the face.

Run the hot water at the sink by the dishwasher. The heating coil in the washer doesn’t have to work as hard to get the water up to temperature. Our washer element died on us and the repair man recommended this. It is better to put the hot water burden on your main water heater.
