Additional tax paperwork with a taxable account

To keep this short, we're considering opening a taxable account right after Jan 1, and putting $10K from savings into total stock market. (VTSAX) Our savings account keeps growing, we have no debt, paid off 2 cars and home, max 2 Roths and 1 457b. Prefer taxable over a second 457 for lower RMD in th...

Not in most states. A tree branch, unless clearly diseased, is considered to have dropped from the sky for insurance purposes. Where it came from is irrelevant.

Since the branch is mostly down can't you find someone to cut it up for free to haul away for their own firewood? OP here, I'm so sorry. My current snowblower is not a Toro, it's a Honda HS520, most likely a Honda HS520AS (manual says HS520A and HS520AS).

I am looking to see about replacement auger paddles right now, as 8-18 inches are on the way Wednesday night through Friday morning.

Any way to improve single stage snowblower?

This weekend we had 16 inches of wet snow. Because of work and night I couldn't go out and snow blow every couple inches, so two 8 inch attempts led to a clogged shoot repeatedly, so I ended up shoveling. Then I went out with just an inch of very wet (33 degrees) snow and it clogged a few times but ...

I agree that LED price point is low enough it's the way to go. I have a box of CFLs that still work, having replaced with LED in main, often on, light fixtures. I'll continue using them in lights we rarely turn on (guest bedroom, attics, etc.) but otherwise LEDs only going forward.
