Most states have a agency called 'Adult Protective Services' or something similar ... look it up online for your state. You can normally anonomously leave a report of elder abuse type concerns, fraud is normally one of them and the state agency will investigate.

I often use open-jaw FF tickets to fly into Maui, HI & out of the Big Island, HI, which requies me to purchase a 1-way ticket between Maui & the Big Island. Otherwise to visit both islands, it would require a roundtrip ticket between the islands.

Some cc's do offer primay coverage, such as the United Airline VISA, but, all the one's I am aware of cover 'theft & collision' which is much more restrictive than AMX's 'damage' wording..

If you are getting severence pay, Florida where I live, delays paying UE based on your amount of severence pay, check the 'fine print' in your state. The logic is that you'd be getting paid twice for the time you get severence pay for, 4 week, etc., severence & UE.

A credit freeze prevents the opening of new lines of credit (credit cards/accounts). It does nothing to protect you from unauthorized use of existing credit cards, which in my opinion is the much more likely event.
