Last winter, my broker opened a margin account for me when I was buying a new home, but I never had to use it. Margin Loan is $0. However, now on my account statement I am seeing some of my Investments listed as “held in margin” as well as some that are “held in cash.” Can someone tell me the differ...

I found the original wording from the company’s warranty: Park any vehicle with new tires on cardboard or mats until the tires have approximately 1000 miles of wear. Epoxy Garage Floors
I had a company install epoxy (about $2,500) on my 2 car garage floor. I was told not to park my new car on the floor until I had driven 1k miles, as the tires would have a coating that stuck to the epoxy. The floor looks great, and I do want to keep it that way, so I am slowly putting mileage on my...

I’m not taking any medication, and since my PCP has a waiting time of four months for a routine visit, I order the basic cholesterol, thyroid, etc. bloodwork for myself every year from DirectLabs and have the work done at Quest. Thanks. I was able to find an Affidavit of Gift form that I think might cover it. It doesn’t specifically say it eliminates a tax, but it does ask if the transferee is related to the transferor and it is a DOT form, so I think it might be the same idea as in your state.
