I think you might have a little trouble getting all your money back from the tax preparer. She has a case too. She gave you back your return very early (February). I think that is impressive. Mine takes until April. You could have easily looked over it then and given her enough time to make it right...

You do need to pay for the higher priced plan in order to use the app. I have never felt the need to arm/disarm from my phone. So, I only pay for the basic monitoring.

Option 2 seems like the best use of your money. Sounds like you are doing well financially. The pool price seems quite high. Mine was $22K but maybe it is just your area.

Congrats on the graduation! I would try to do some trimming on the budget (restaurants seem high for me). Your outflow adds up to $3910 but your income is $3700. Try to knock at least $200 off the budget. Do you have any other debts from college?

Why aren't you paying via credit card on auto pay. Wife's chase credit card has 5x points for phone bills and utilities. I had this happen to mine. It was the motor coupler. Those things are only plastic. It likely stressed too much from the pillow. You can get a replacement on Amazon for about 8 bucks. I have had the cards for years. I don’t plan to drop it because the free room is always worth more than the annual fee. That said, I don’t see a point in having two cards. I just have my wife as an authorized user on my card.

You might need to double check your loan deduction too. If you have $1200 in interest a year to deduct that doesn’t mean you get all that back. You get back a portion depending on your tax rate.

Go with the brokerage link if there are no additional fees. I have 100% of my company 401k going into a brokerage link. This way, I can invest in any fund that I want.
